The most important aspects of teaching are to keep it simple and relevant and to help the student relax.

The advantages of a Write Away training
- English is not the most complex language in the world, but it can be one of the most difficult to learn.As a native speaker I have the experience of speaking the language and have a better and less complicated way of providing explanations. Since I mainly focus on teaching English to Dutch speakers, I can if necessary, clarify in Dutch.
- I have lived half my life in the Netherlands and have worked both in Ireland and in the Netherlands
That makes me uniquely qualified to understand you. I have stood in your shoes. I have been exposed me to more than just language differences. Quite quickly I realised that the cultural differences might even be more important than the lack of vocabulary.
- At meetings you will be forgiven for an awkward sentence structure
Or limited vocabulary but understanding the rules regarding familiarity or keeping a distance during meetings or learning how, using (body) language you keep your communication open and constructive is essential.
- There may be miscommunications regarding culture and customs
But native speaker teachers make it easier to learn and understand the English language and how to minimise blunders that may be embarrassing for you and effect your concentration during that important negotiation.
- Some things cannot be learned from a textbook
By practicing with a native speaker, you start to ‘feel’ what is right.

That is why numbers are kept small for the Write Away, text and design training to ensure there is sufficient individual attention.
A preliminary session, free of charge, is carried out, after which a customized plan for the training course is drawn up.
The courses are made up of between 10 and 15 90-minute sessions for groups, or 60-minute sessions for one-on-one tutoring.
